  • Scotiabank Saddledome - Fire and ice is the name of the game at this Calgary sports stadium. As the Calgary Flames take center ice, cheer your team to victory. The Saddledome is also the spot to rock out to your favorite performer at the concert of the year. Catch the action of the Calgary Roughnecks of the National Lacrosse League from December through April 30th. Since joining the NLL in 2001, the Calgary Roughnecks have captured the Champion’s Cup twice, most recently in 2009 when they defeated the New York Titans at the Saddledome.
  • Spruce Meadows - Watch all the action at this show jumping complex in Calgary. You’ll gasp as horses and their riders commandeer exciting jumps.   Spruce Meadows also features a variety of annual festivals throughout the year. 
  • Castle Mountain - Located a 2-hour drive east of the Hyatt Regency Calgary, Castle Mountain Resort is a ski and snowboard resort with two mountains for skiers and riders to enjoy. The mountains feature 2,833 vertical feet of trails, chutes, bowls, glades, cruisers, stroller, and three terrain parks.
  • Lake Louise Ski Resort - Nestled in the heart of Banff National Park and only 1 ½ hours from our hotel, Lake Louise Ski Resort offers 4,200 acres of terrain accessible to skiers and snowboarders. The resort features the longest run in Canada measuring 5 miles and is a total vertical rise of 3,250 feet.
  • Sunshine Village - Located high along the Continental Divide in Banff National Park, Sunshine Village is Canada’s highest elevated resort and features breathtaking views. The skiing area at the park includes over 3,300 acres that include a range from beginner runs to steep expert trails.
  • Nakiska Mountain Resort - Located just 45 minutes from our hotel, Nakiska was originally designed to host the alpine events of the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.
